What with anti choice legislation going to be passed in AZ and other states this is more important than ever.

2. I wondered the same thing. Don't worry. He'll do it.
That crap can't withstand Obama's scrutiny. One of his top people used to run "Emily's List" , remember (Ellen Moran)?

11. It's still in sub/committee in both Houses. I'm sure obama will sign it as soon as it passes.
Yes we should definitely demand that congress move on this bill!

Obama is really a magician, he can sign bills into law before they even pass congress.

14. Doesn't the legislative branch have to pass it
make it a law and then it comes to him for signature? Isn't that the process? You don't want him to be like King George, declaring the law and by passing the legislature, do you?

15. Just encouraging him. If he can work on closing Guantanamo and Ethics reform
Edited on Wed Jan-21-09 03:43 PM by saracat
he can at least be speaking out on this issue and hurry it along! Congress needs pushing too. I don't want this "marginalised. I want it to be as "promised" and NOT put on the back burner!
