Why Kerry hiring the bumper sticker (fired) lady is such a great story.
-It shows Kerry is a nice guy.
-It speaks to those of us who feel disenfranchised in this Bush era of "anyone who isn't a Repub can go to hell or rot in Guantanamo"
-It taps into the issues of joblessness and the anxiety of a huge number of voters who are on the margins economically or who have actually fallen off the edge
-The story about the bossman telling the lady she could "work for John Kerry" is too classic.

1. Outstanding Story!
It makes for a lot of great PR for Kerry.

Do you know what kind of job she got? Is she part of the campaign staff? More info, pleeeeezzze!

Thanks for the story.

i passed it thinking it was the Clinton emp. that had joined his team, not the bumpersticker person...

cool. I hope a fairly long story comes out of this and goes all over the news.

5. also
- It's a good contrast to Bush, who hired people that raised $100,000+ for his campaign.

- She made a strong stand for civil rights, knowing it was going to cost her her job, showing some real integrity rather than selling out her principles to make a buck. The heart and soul of the party. I love that she came off looking heroic, not like someone to be pitied.
