What happened to the Bush records that were on damaged microfiche ?

A few months ago, it was reported by the White House that some of Mr Bush's military records were damaged from the 1972-73 period. People at the time thought that was very convenient. Anyone else remember this story? Were any of these damaged records reproduced in any way? Would the questionable documents have been in Bush's file or in his commander's file? Does anyone know anything about these damaged microfiche that the White House said were damaged?? It is my opinion that the facts and dates in all these documents are real and they have not been denied by anyone in the White House, although they have said they might be "forged". That doesn't mean they are not "real". I am certain there is a logical explanation, but I don't know if we will find the answer by November the 2nd and I don't know that we have the time to invest in this issue, at the expense of more important ones.

1. Didn't they find something thought to have been destroyed?

Wish they could so conveniently find all the 1890 census records that were accidentally destroyed by fire, it would help genealogists a LOT.


But you're right -- way too much time on these issues, not enough on the misdeeds of Bush* as pResident.
