I just put a TV on my roof!
I found it in someone's garbage.

It's nice, but it doesn't have a remote.

I have to climb up on my roof every time I want to adjust the volume or change the channel.

Real pain in the ass.

3. Oh, ok!
So we don't need a converter box then? That'll save me a lot of money.

6. My neighbor got stuck on her roof in her nightgown once..

.
.

I kid you not.

She climbed up there on a super tall painting ladder that she leaned against her house, and went over to brush snow off of her satellite dish. Somehow or another, the ladder fell into her yard.

I didn't see her myself, but another neighbor eventually went out to investigate a faint noise in the distance he kept hearing.

When I got home from work that night, she told me she was up there for approximately 45 minutes in nothing but a nightgown, a coat and some slip-on boots.

Could've been disastrous if the neighbor hadn't seen her because it was colder than hell out and she is an older lady who is thinner than a bean pole.

I don't live near her anymore, but she still reminds me of it every year when she sends a Christmas card..

9. LOL!
.
.

I was wracking my brain trying to come up with a new name and couldn't think of one.. Just went with snowbear since I live in Anchorage.. even though it doesn't really mean anything..

Just got tired of using my first name..

I was going to change the avatar too, but firedupdem talked me into keeping this one for a while (so I didn't throw her off..LOL)

10. And I thought I was bad.
I remember coming home from work one evening during the fall when the weather was just beginning to turn. I had removed my dress trousers, and was in the house wearing a long sweatshirt, socks and shoes. I heard something fall in my attached garage. When I went to investigate, I locked myself out.

I knew I could get in through an unlocked window on the other side of the house. I sneaked over there in my trouserless outfit. Since I had to climb slightly, I looked for traffic. A cop car went by. I ducked into the bushes. As soon as the coast was clear, I opened the window and boosted myself in.

It was pretty cold by then, and I felt stupid. Never again.
