Is the Steam gone from the Bush campaign?
Noone I know ever wants to talk about it. It's like, "Don't go there".

I think people are sick of this never ending war, unimproving economy and animosity that the world has against us.

As much as they smirk at the memos, it's like getting smacked and saying "huh, that didn't hurt that much"...

Memo talk is damage to Bush. No matter what is said to try to spin out of it, this is a festering karbunkle on the toe of Fester Bester Tester. Team Bush is not controlling the conversation, they are only reacting to it.

1. The War is the huge issue
that Rove and Co want everyone to forget, but it can't be forgotten, and it's getting worse.

4. Very true, I was suprised how much airtime the attrocites of this
war in Iraq had been aired by CNN today, faith and hope can always work miracles....the more informed our nation is as to the truth in Iraq, the less likely people are apt to believe the lies given so freely and for so long from bushy and comp......

3. The RNC sheen is starting to wear thin...
The RNC really brought our side down...the last night was seriously depressing...thanks goodness for the protestors!

Not as much as loss of steam - more like the wheels are about to fall off...

5. It did wear people down, not because it was so great or popular, but
because the sheer hatefulness and deliberate obfuscation wafted off of it like some toxic fog; it went right through the TV screen.

6. it was like a fairy tale -
they tried to pretend they had the answer to everything. But then reality set in like a hangover and we went back to the same old shit as ever,
