That crazy s.o.b Blago is going to try and damage Obama
hell, he's already trying. I heard him this morning on Fux and he was getting his digs in about Obama.

I don't think there's anything there, but I do think Blago is a vengeful prick who lies his ass off at the drop of a hat. He won't succeed but he'll try. He sees Illinois dems as his nemesis.

Get the fucker out and hopefully he'll stop being a media attraction.

1. He is such a joke. If he had anything of worth or damage,
he would be st his Impeachment trial defending himself. His strategy is to go around the tv shows making ridiculous accusations to draw more media attention to him than his trial.

At the end of the week, he'll be unemployed and still no one will take him seriously.

2. He's going to be on Rachel's show tonight.
I agree, he's a snake in the grass and is vengeful toward Obama.

14. I hope so
None of that nonsense like the giggling ladies of "The View". This man is not a joke. He has rendered the office of governor ineffective. While he has not yet been convicted of a crime, he is now unable to operate as the chief officer of my state. My representatives now have to take time away from the pressing matters facing Illinois to take care of this egotistical fool. And he can't even be bothered to try to explain himself in front of the state senate.

He is dangerous, and every day he stays in office causes damage. This isn't funny to us.

3. Everyone knows Blago is a joke.
Appointing Oprah pretty much sealed it. People might think he's a republican if he attacks Obama.

4. I agree that Blagoivich is wacked, but
I have also found it striking how others have tried to attach their star to Obama's, and/or have unnecessarily felt marginalized because they feel they deserve to have achieved what he has and they haven't, or people like Jeremiah Wright who wanted more of the spotlight. I think Jesse Jackson Sr. has gotten over it, but I think it was difficult for him to swallow the new ways of how things get done.

Off topicc, but Sarah Palin continues to show her political immaturity with all her rantings, doesn't she.

13. In Some Cases
Edited on Tue Jan-27-09 10:02 AM by NashVegas
I honestly think you have it backwards. Wright didn't go seeking the spotlight until after his reputation had been damaged, and his reasons for seeking it were an attempt to repair that damage. Inbetween, Obama was forced to sever the relationship in order to please his new, more powerful friends.

Same thing with Dean. Dean gave Obama tons of help but once again, Obama's new set of friends ...

Blago's a different nut altogether. He told Obama's new friends to fuck off right from the start.

17. Dean is an honorable man
I don't disagree with you on your points.

There are a lot of double standards, aren't there?

7. Blago has no credibility. I predict his next job will be blowhard talking head on Faux News.
The man is going to need a job after he's impeached and now that he's gone national, it's evident his focus is on staying out of jail and what he's going to do next.

He will fit in perfectly with the crazies at Faux.

9. He has no effect on Obama
Who cares what Blago says? Not me. Who cares what the republicans think or say about the whole thing? Not me. They lost and they have no power.

I will reserve judgement on Blago's guilt when I see full evidence. I dont believe in trial by media.

12. You Can Thank Fitzgerald For Making Blago A Household Name........
and now that he was given more time to put his case together - Blago is out of control. Blago will be taken out of office - even Blago knows it. When that happens Blago will even gain more notoriety and perhaps embarrass Obama even more so than now. This Blago thing sure takes the media in a different direction than focusing their efforts on Rove, Gonzalez, Rumsfeld, Cheney and Bush doesn't it?

Seems to me that somebody knows how to manipulate the media. I wonder who that is? and I don't think it's just Blago.
