Edwards in Oregon: "Iraq: It's a mess because of this president ...."
http://www.oregonlive.com/news/oregonian/david_sarasohn/index.ssf?/base/editorial/109524938046620.xml

OREGON CITY The theme of the day was about health, but the wound peeked through. It's increasingly ugly, and for the next seven weeks, it's going to bleed all over everything.

And the Democratic ticket is beginning to face it -- and has to.

Vice presidential candidate John Edwards was all over the health issue in his appearance Tuesday morning at Clackamas Community College, opening with an endorsement by outdoor equipment executives that connected health to the environment and all-weather tents. Then the North Carolina senator went into the CCC gym and talked about holding down health costs and making sure all kids were covered.

But there was a point to make before he got into that.

"Iraq is a mess. By any definition it's a mess," Edwards said to an enthusiastic crowd. "It's a mess because of this president and this vice president."

Glad to have you on board. I have asked your question many times: What the hell has happened to our country, and how can ANYONE support Bush and his gang of thugs? Keep the message out there:

6. Oregon Loves the 2 Johns.
But I hope Bush wastes more effort here so that we can focus our effort in some real swing states...but mark it...Oregon is solid Blue and staying that way.

11. I have been impressed with Edwards
He has the ability to smile and jab Bushco at the same time. Cannot wait for the debates with Cheney. That will be a hoot.
