I mean, if she can tell that a typewriter has or doesn't have proportional spacing by a quick glance at a xeroxed document, then surely she could have been able to immediately debunk the Niger documents, especially the part about using the outdated letterhead and the official's name who had been long gone.

And don't forget, her comment about the millions of "bad" commercials about her husband (which, when calculated using the standard 8 minutes of commercials per half-hour comedy show, and on three of the four "major" networks, meant that every commercial played since December 1999 would have been anti-W).
