The University of Toronto young Democrats abroad!!! (Election related).
I attend the University of Toronto up here in Canada. I love my school, however I was a tad disappointed that I would probably never get to join a college political organization. That all changed yesterday.

I was down at the club fair (I am a sophomore, by the way), and I saw a big sign amongst the hundreds of tables (there's an organization for everything here) "US citizens vote". I went over to check it out and saw piles of Kerry and anti-Bush signs and buttons. There was a girl there handing out absentee ballots that she had Xeroxed for each state out of a big book. I found out that she had organized a YD chapter for the University of Toronto. There were already about two dozen names on the list, and I stayed around for an hour and there was constant traffic. They probably got about 50 absentee votes for Kerry yesterday (or at least some people who had already voted absentee).

Oh, and there was no Republican table.

Just some encouraging news I thought I'd pass along.

2. Cool.
I'm kinda sad that the class of 2007 doesn't get a 9T# to go with it.

3. Yeah, hadn't thought about that...
I guess 0T7 doesn't have quite the same style.

Been a long time since I've been on campus. I'll have to drive through next time I'm in the city. I wonder if the same chinese food truck is still outside Sid Smith on St. George. Used to get the best beef lo mein from that guy. Yum.

Good luck with your studies :)

Sid
