Are you seeing Kerry/Edwards signs in Missouri?
I am the only one in my neighborhood with a Kerry/Edwards sign in my yard. The rest are Bush/Cheney. I don't want Missouri to go red!! Where are the Missouri signs? I live in KC. Anyone?

3. Yes, several have gone up in the last few weeks...
I live in Ballwin, in St. Louis County. Pretty repub area, but I'd say Kerry/Edwards signs, at this point, outnumber b/c signs by about 4 to 1. They just started showing up in yards within the past few weeks. Seeing a big increase in K/E bumper stickers also.

4. Signs.
I'm in a suburb of KC on the Missouri side. As far as signs go I've only see a couple signs at all, from both sides. One loan Kerry one on the way to the gym. One lone Bush one. Then after about two weeks of this loan Bush sign his neighbor put up 6 Kerry signs all along his yard lol.

For the most part through very few signs. Bumper stickers I've seen only 2 Bush compared to something like 6 or 7 Kerry.

6. they're around

The area around UMKC is absolutely saturated with Kerry signs. I've also seen quite a few in south KC.

The Kansas City Kerry headquarters was out of lawn signs for quite a while. That might account for fewer signs this year.

On edit: I've seen one - *one* - Bush* lawn sign in KCMO so far, and one W bumpersticker. That's it. I'd say we're doing okay.

8. I hope your Kerry yard sign....
lasts longer than SOME people who have placed them in their yard. I hear stories all the time about Kerry yard signs being stolen or vandalized.

10. We drove through Missouri on a family trip
And saw lots of KE bumper stickers along the way -- I-35 & Hwy 71

Mostly we saw an abundance of signs for local races -- all up and down Hwy 71 (Joplin to KC). I'm not sure who the candidate named "Farmer" is, but we heard some really nasty radio ads against him/her. From the sounds of things, Farmer is a dem & could probably use some help from the locals.

13. It's Nancy Farmer
She's a Dem running against the evil gnome Kit Bond for the US Senate.

She's a great candidate, but she needs money. Bond is blanketing the airwaves.

11. Not that many in St. Louis . . . for either candidate.
I admit, I live in a more affluent area of St. Louis (West County). I'm one of the very, very few that have a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on my car in my neighborhood.

At work, it is about 50-50 Bush v. Kerry inside the cubicles.

It's still a little eary. As the election gets closer, I expect to see a lot more signs.

12. Yes. But I'm on a college campus
I'm at WashU, so the overall environment is pretty liberal. However, I haven't been out much.

17. southwest Missouri
Here in Carthage (12,000 population) we have put out 250 signs in the last week. Joplin has 1,500 signs out and more on order.
I would like to urge all Missouri Democrats to report to their local headquarters and volunteer. We need poll watchers and people to man phone banks and to do voter registration. We will win here but we need everyones help.

18. Ne Mo-
Not of ton of Kerry signs, but almost NO Bush signs in my county!

This is a VERY Republican county- the local races are done at the primary, as usually no Dem even runs. One local had even been in office for years as a repub- but couldn't stand it, so ran as a Dem, and lost. This was about 20 years ago.

Even the former Repub Mayor has a Kerry sign in his yard.

19. LOTS of Kerry/Edwards supporters in Springfield ....
Amazingly: a large segment of support smack dab in the middle of the Ozarks ....

People are social conservatives here, but they are mostly working men and women .... they know the score when it comes to the GOP and workers ....

20. Unfortunately,
I'm seeing the same thing you are.

I'm also in the KC area, up around Kearney. The Bush campaign has apparently been here recently because the number of B/C signs has tripled in the past couple of weeks.

HOWEVER, I just got a call from the Kerry campaign asking me to help canvass in Liberty this Saturday. I'm gonna do it, and hopefully that means the Kerry squad is moving into action in our area.
