Joining in on the punditry...my advice for Kerry
First of all, I like Kerry's "excuse Presidency," or him saying that the Bush presidency is full of bad decisions but not bad luck. But there's one thing missing.

Most people don't approve of Bush's job performance, but they DO think that he's a nice guy. Convincing voters that Bush is evil is going to waste too much time-only 7 weeks left. He should be out there saying "Look, Bush is a good guy, but he makes bad decisions that we can't afford a President to make."

This would be a perfect statement for the debates- people already aren't sure about Bush, but they just need the right rationale to dump him.

Thoughts?

1. People need to realize
they are voting for a CIC not a best buddy. Kerry somehow has to defuse that "likability" factor.

Who would be a better leader? I don't have to like Kerry personally to know that he will make a much better President than that fake downhome cowboy who inhabits the White House today.

2. I don't usually get in on these, because free advice is only worth
what you paid for it, but perhaps Kerry could point out the fact that this country was never hit by a terrorist attack until shortly after george bush started running his mouth off about how weak and thinly stretched our military was during his bid for election in 2000!

Just because they were living in caves doesn't mean they were living in the dark ages!
