1. someone should point out to Judy that Bush is running five points
under what he got in '00 and Kerry is running 2 points ahead of Gore.

4. WI-Dem, hope you don't mind
but i just used your stats and sent this to cnn:

"I'd like to remind the blatantly biased Ms. Woodruff that her statement that 'Bush is inching towards Kerry in Minnesota, (50 to 41) could just have easily been worded, Bush is running 5 points below what he got in 2000 in Minnesota, and Kerry is running 2 points ahead of Gore in 2000 in Minnesota.' Oh, but wait. That might get dangerously close to objective reporting, and CNN can certainly have none of that."

3. Let's see.....even Newsweek has the national poll with Bush and
Kerry like 5 or 6 points apart. I don't hear her yelling "oh my god...Kerry is closing". Rather, it's Bush is leading in nearly ALL THE POLLS. Only Time is the one hanging onto the 11 point bullshit. All other polls have this baby from tied to 1 and 2 point separation. They are dreading when the polls become even or Kerry pull ahead because their mission right here and right now is to convince the American people that IT IS OVER and, thus, make Dems stay home on election day.

5. But if Kerry trailed by 9 points she'd say he's writing off the state
