4. And while we are on the subject, I have a few points

I'd like to share and then I'll feel better.

I hate the idea that we will, for the first time EVER, have an amendment that discriminates. It is sickening.

I hate the idea that gay people are being discriminated against. I thought 'family' was our greatest strength. The more happy families we have the better we are.

Conservatives shamefully focus their attention on gays as somehow eroding this principle of family when it is adultery and divorce that are the true culprits! They never talk about those! How about a law against divorce while there are children in the home?

but I have to disagree with this:

Bad idea 'cause they'll just kill their kids off if a law like that is enacted. After all, if you're a con, the only "life" that matters is one in a womb. Once they're born, kids are no longer political currency and therefore expendable! OK, so I exaggerate... a little!
