the liberal stand on the abortion issue says a woman should have a right to choose to terminate a pregnancy up to a certain point in the development of the fetus. when the courts ruled on roe v wade, i'm sure that medical experts (and quite possibly clergy) were involved in the decision to ensure that the point up to which abortion will be made legal will be at a time when the fetus is NOT a baby.

Guns and abortions are no-gray-area, hot-button, with-us/against-us subjects.

But it's not being anti-military or anti-American to take a real, serious and objective look at just how well The Shrub has been leading that military. Some of the articles I've seen, lately, on
www.commondreams.org and www.antiwar.com have been pretty devastating.

Another good source would be hackworth.com and "soldiers for the truth" (I think it's www.sftt.org), run by America's most decorated combat veteran, ever, David Hackworth. (He ran off to fight in WWII as an underage 15 year old, and then literally wrote the book on how to fight in Vietnam. He shows up from time to time on CNN and MSNBC as a talking head, so you've maybe seen him.) His 2 websites have actual military e-mailing in on their experiences, from Iraq and Afghanistan, and are also pretty eye-opening.

Maybe even eye-opening enough for a twit like the t-shirt maker.
I'm sure he (or she) is as well-intentioned and patriotic as the next person, but few people really know how badly the war in Iraq is going, or how poorly planned and executed it's been. That's not leadership...
