From CNN:
"I understand that people want to protect their sources, but we're dealing with the alleged forgery of government documents to influence a presidential race during war," DeLay told reporters. "This isn't politics as usual. It's dangerous and possibly criminal."
Yeah, that's what WE'VE been saying about VALERIE PLAME! What a dumbass! A traitor in the White House is of no consequence to DeFraud. But God forbid the media should actually shed light on Smirk being a FRAUD and LIAR. Nope, can't have that.
And, of course, DeLay had to remind people that we are in a war. You know, in case nobody knew that already. It's fearmongering is what it is, because the fact that we're in war has no bearing whatsoever on any of this.
I won't even comment on the fact that Tom DeLay (!) is talking about criminal actions. Kind of like Bob NoFacts telling people to reveal their sources. (Say, maybe we should investigate THAT?)
"The questions about the documents prompted Rep. J.D. Hayworth, R-Arizona, to take the floor of the House Tuesday to demand answers to two questions: 'What did Dan Rather know, and when did he know it?'"
Dan Rather knew that Bush is a liar and a fraud back in 1972, and he still is today. And I suspect, like most of us, he's known it for quite a while.
"I understand we believe in the First Amendment," Hayworth said.
Sure, unless they tell the truth.
"In terms of the timing of these old, recycled attacks on the president, it is clear that this is an orchestrated attempt by Democrats and the Kerry campaign," he said.
Ah, kind of like those old, recycled attacks on Kerry's service record which were orchestrated by the Bush?
"Despite the growing abundance of evidence that CBS News has aided and abetted fraud, the network has declined to reveal the source of the disputed documents," Cox said.
What about evidence that the White House has aided and abetted fraud. (AKA, everything that has come out of Shrub's mouth since 1/20/2001.)
