My CBS took a dump during the news. I'm in central Illinois, and all my other cable channels remained working fine, while on CBS, right after the Hurricane Ivan lead story, it went blank. And now that CBS evening news is over, the channel has come back up. I read the same thing going on in different locations earlier this week. WTF is up????

And we are pissed that CBS news got BLACKED OUT right after the hurricane lead story. Magically it came back up after CBS eve news ended and local news came on. Now they have a crappy lame movie on instead of 60 minutes. Something bad is going on. So much for freedom of speech and freedom of the press. I would not have thought anything about it except that the same thing happened to others earlier this week. All other channels worked except CBS. That's just too strange.

What is so wrong in telling these posters to provide the info they say exists. They apparently seen the page or watched the tape. At that point, as you are aware, you copy the link to the info and provide it with your post. The last few weeks there have been endless posts that give half sentences amounting to nothing. I am one of many here who have been speaking up about this in hopes people would just do their part in keeping others informed as soon as they can.

You see, we do things here for others to make the converstaion roll smoothly and keep everyone as informed as soon as possible. Now, with that in mind, this poster knew enough to state the CBS had the tape up, so one assumes they seen the page or the tape itself. It is at that point the poster is supposed to make copy of the page and apply it to the post.

Over the last couple of weeks with the influx of many new posters there have too many posts to mention where people leave open ended comments and state things without providing links to articles and clips.

Now it's your turn to appoligize. Think twice before you try to bash someone without knowing what it is you are talking about!

18. I Watched NBC, which Reported on the CBS Story

Man was I pissed. They blasted Dan, repeated the superscript dribble without debunking it, had the secretary claim she did not remember typing them, showed the president of CBS news promising to "do a better job of validating the story" and gloated that CBS was now saying that the "substance" of the accusations was valid, implying the charge that the documents were fake was true.

Then said that the issue was now CBS's credibility and by extension the entire news media which stands accused OF HAVING A LIBERAL BIAS!

CBS 60 Minutes II from tonight's show. 60 Minutes was not carried on my local station, either. In fairness, the show that was aired had been scheduled for some time. It was a local awards show - that could and should have been delayed.
