....who maintains that if Gore had been president after 9/11, he'd have 'surrendered to the terrorists', Al Qaeda would have 'taken over', it would now 'be illegal to be a Christian', and 'all women would have to wear burkas'.

She lives in panic fear that the Moslems are going to kill her babies by -- take your pick -- a dirty bomb at Bath Iron Works or a truck-bombing of the Maine Mall.

If I had her commute, I'd worry about a more realistic risk -- hitting a moose at sixty-five MPH on the Turnpike some foggy morning.
