Performance Appraisal
Help me write this--give me your suggestions for examples and other text to complete the following:

"Have a seat, George.

"As you know, we have a kind of 'performance appraisal process here–it's called the "Presidential Election." It's a bit unusual in that it only happens every four years which is longer than most HR experts recommend. Still, we try to make sure that Presidents get feed-back and advice on an on-going basis between appraisals and it's clear from the record that you've gotten plenty of that.

"The problem, George, is that you really didn't seem to be listening or capable of understanding so despite all that good counsel you've really messed things up very badly.

"Now, we all think you have a very good, I guess the word is "presence". You're trim and well groomed and have that slight swagger that helps to inspire confidence. That was really an asset right after the 9/11 attacks. The "Mission Accomplished" was good, too. You really looked good in that flight suit!

"The thing is, there's more to being president than just photo-ops. I mean, when we talk about performance we’re not just talking about how you present at events and news conferences and the like. It also refers to what you accomplish and I have to say that we think the record there really leaves a lot to be desired.

"Let me give you some examples of what I mean:
