A Florida judge has ordered county elections officials to issue absentee ballots without the name of independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader, in a possible blow to US President George Bush in the battleground state.

The judge overruled a move this week by Florida's elections supervisor to include Nader on the ballot for the November 2nd election as a Reform Party candidate.

7. One of the judges appointed to the Florida Supreme Court is

Raul Cantero Batista. Fulgencio Batista y Zaldivar's grandson. Batista was the most murderous dictator Cuba has ever had but he was a right wing dictator. This Raul Cantero Batista was appointed to the Florida Supreme Court by Jeb Bush in a slap to the face to the many Cubans who had children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, fathers, uncles, aunts, murdered by the Batista thugs in the l950s Cuba. The Batista right wing Cubans in Miami like the Diaz-Balart brothers, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Ninotshka Perez-Castellon and others couldn't be more thrilled over Cantero-Batista's appointment to the Fla. Supreme Court.

Edited to add: If the Fla. Supreme Court is to have a vote on whether or not Nader will be on the Fla. Ballot, I bet 10 to 1 that Cantero-Batista will vote in favor of placing Nader on the Fla. ballot.
