1. Then they start talking about the staggering foreclosure rate.....
As though this is the result of the "Obama" economy, as they have decided to call it.

I swear, I hate these fuckers!

14. we can call them on it
One thing that amazed me was Exxon stations shutting down in CA. It was about a year after the Valdez spill in 89. So I drove by the station right by my apartment at the time, and on numerous occasions thought, Fuck that, I will drive another mile to fill up. Obviously hundreds of thousands, if not millions of other Californians had the same thought.

Post their main sources of ad revenue and we stop buying and write letters.

I hate to take a page from the Hannity playbook, but after watching an hour on Sunday, I see the bias and the reason for your frustration.

11. Let's play word association! Bush Depression
Bush Depression
Bush Depression
Bush Depression
Bush Depression
Bush Depression

NEVER use one word without the other. We've got to make sure historians two hundred years from now are calling this economic clusterfuck the Bush Depression.

They're attempting the same trick, but with Obama's name instead. We've got the truth on our side, so we have the advantage!

16. How quickly (or conveniently) CNN forgets
that news about the screwed up economy was coming out in the waning days of the bu$h misadministration, and they had even admitted that the economy had been screwed up for at least a year before that!

18. Clinton also shares a substantial portion of the blame.
Edited on Tue Feb-17-09 09:01 AM by Skwmom
I agree Obama is left holding the bag.

Bill Clinton, along with the Republicans, passed the deregulation that led to this financial collapse. Furthermore, at the time it was passed we had just went through the S&L debacle. So it was like saying that the problem wasn't that we deregulated, the problem was that we didn't deregulate enough. That really deserves a dunce of the year award.

Furthermore, Clinton, like the Republicans, pushed "free trade." When you enter into agreements that have no protections for workers or the environment what exactly do you think is going to happen to countries that have such protections? I don't think it takes a genius to figure out that there is going to be a mass exodus of jobs as corporations chase the bottom line. And many of the corporations who didn't want to engage in such behavior were forced to leave or go bankrupt.

I'm amazed about how people complain about the postings about Obama while continuing to sing the praises of Clinton. a man who helped destroy this country.

I think Obama is a decent guy and I really like is wife. I just hope he relies on his own instincts versus seeking advise and counsel from the corrupt idiots that got us in this mess.

The role that Clinton played in this debacle needs to be exposed. Otherwise, when things get worse, and they will, the Clinton gang will try to blame Obama for what they played a large role in creating.

Edited on Tue Feb-17-09 09:03 AM by Peacetrain
who has been willing to stand up and say.. here is what we have to do, and if it fails, then it is my fault.

President Obama did not make this mess, but all of us knew in our hearts that who ever came after Bush would be saddled with the mess he created.

Kudos to a stand up guy.. President Obama
