polling began day after 9/11 (ended 14th). includes leaners (low undecideds). maybe take into account that it's a left-leaning org.

bush lost a point, btw.

also, without nader, its bush 49, Kerry 48 (bush loses a point, kerry gains one)

bye bye, 'bounce' :D

has published: The latest Harris poll which shows John Kerry leading GWBush (Bush has lost his RNC 'bounce') . . .

2. yup, both polls are consistent. the race is about tied again.
the 'double digit' lead was bs.

"Methodology: This poll was conducted by telephone within the U. S. between Sept. 9 and 13, 2004 among a nationwide cross section of 1,018 adults. Figures for age, sex, race, education, number of adults, number of voice/telephone lines in the household, region and size of place were weighted where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population. In theory, with a probability sample of this size, one can say with 95% certainty that the results have a statistical precision of +/-3 percentage points of what they would be if the entire adult population had been polled with complete accuracy." -- Harris poll, 9/16/04
