Bush supporters are dangerously naive....?
And they put the rest of us in danger also. Because, behind the smirk of George W Bush, lies a dangerous and weak leader. His so-called "leadership" makes us unsafe around the world. And disrespected by former allies.

And he promises them "security". Naive peasants flock to the promise that their huts will not be blown away. They cheer at his courage and willingness to "defend" our country at any cost - so long as he is not the one to pay the price. He must be right because he is a "Christian". They are somehow comforted that even though he may have many weaknesses as a person or a president, at least God is on his side. Lord help us!

1. Not naive
pure EVIL. They know who they're supporting. They love carnage and display of American's mighty military power.

2. Bush backers just don't seem to know what they're talking about.
A few of my friends are planning to vote for him... but they just don't know what they're talking about. It's true.

3. Most think that the only way to "win" the war on terra..
.. is to blow people up, women and children included.

They forget - he who lives by the sword..

4. They're like a bunch of badly misinformed lemmings
blindly following bush off a cliff. Except they're dragging us with them. I know that some are evil, but a lot I've met just don't really know what's going on and rather than condemning them, I try to show them the truth.

5. Here's what Bush Supporters tell me:
Original question posed by me:

can you tell me why you will be voting for Bush this election?

WITHOUT referencing Kerry, or any other member of any other party, or their actions?

y'all always seem to frame things in the context of bipartisanship - but i think it's time for a Bush/Cheney lovefest.

i admit i can't find anything in his record that makes me want to vote for him, but for those of you who do, I would like to know what those things are.

thanks!

Response #1:
"Here are a couple of reasons I am voting for Bush!

1. I believe in a strong national defense.
2.I think the government should not be in the business of providing welfare to people. If a person is able to work and is not working they are just LAZY!
3.I believe that Bush will do a better job in controlling gov't spending, lowering my taxes, reforming Medicare and saving social security.

That is just a couple of reasons, but the list goes on! "

Response #2:(which was useless really and didn't follow directions)

"Besides, ala Michael Moore, George Soros and all the other extremists, let’s just say the anti-Bush vitriol here is doing a much better job of giving reasons to vote for Bush than any supporters could dream possible. "

Response#3:

"1. My tax burden has been decreasing since 2001. Each year and every year. More money in my pocket. That should be enough for anyone.

2. Bush has convictions that he keeps. On abortion, on stem cell research, on same sex marriage, on boosting AIDS funding, etc. If you agree with him or not, you at least know where he stands.

3. He's not snooty. Doesn't have the "I'm better and smarter than you" attitude nor the "I know what's better for you" attitude.

4. Tough. Cowboy. Exactly what we need during war. There is no diplomacy with terrorists, whether it's al-Qaeda or animals taking kids as hostages.

5. He's loyal. He understands that mistakes will be made along the way but he won't let his team be thrown to the wolves for political destruction. Case in point, Rumsfeld. Team player. and Leader.

6. He's rock solid after he makes a decision even if the polls show it's unpopular after the fact. He hates Monday night quarterbacking.

7. After 9/11, he walked out into Yankee stadium in the middle of tens of thousands and threw a baseball right through the strike zone from the top of the mound.

8. He destroyed the threat of Saddam Hussein after the UN tried for 13 years.

9. He got Libya to abandon their weapons program.

10. He doesn't believe the UN is the answer to all the world's evils.

11. He truly believes in God.

12. He continues to support small business owners.

13. He tears up, but you know he's not a girly-man.

14. He's a conservative.

15. When he vacations, likes to spend quiet time on his ranch.

16. He doesn't think the media is a leading authority on current events. He knows that "he" is. "

those are the only people i could get to play, because they are the most rabid bushies on this other site i visit.
