Chuck Todd said Nader pulling votes from Shrub!
On c-span Chuck Todd reporting from the Hill said in the latest polls that Shrub had a lead in a two way race, but when Nader was inserted making it a three way race, Bush actually lost. This is the first poll that shows Nader taking votes away from Bush.

Wouldn't it be funny to see the Pub backing Nader actually backfire on them!!!

2. Bullshit...................
don't believe it for a moment. They'd like nothing more than for us to forget all about St. Ralph thinking he's not hurting us.

10. why bullshit?
What about people who oppose the war and neither Bush nor Kerry speaks for them?

I think Nader will end up with higher vote than in 2000. He is the antiwar candidate in 2004. And this might cost Kerry the election.

Flame me all you want now :)

4. Bullshit. I think the real answer is that 2 per 100
actually like to have fun jerking pollsters around. THAT is why Nader pulls from bush.

5. This is true of the pubs who hate Bush AND Kerry
still, I'd rather Nader was not a choice.

6. What they really need to do is put Badnarik in the mix.....
if Badnarik is on the ballot, he can pull quite a few disenchanted conservatives away.

7. I think it makes some sense
If you're a loyal Republican who doesn't like Bush, it's pretty hard to vote for Kerry, but Nader provides a legitimate option. Not only does Nader have no chance of winning, he's never been active in civil rights, his following his overwhelmingly white middle class, and he's clearly as anti-Democratic as he is anti-Republican.

8. Actually I think Nader could hurt W.rong too...
I agree, everyone I know who used to support W.rong but can't stand him anymore tends to say, "But I don't want to vote for Kerry"... so it's entirely possible some of the W.rong supporters of 2000 who regret that choice will pull for Nader. After all, Republicans are working to get Nader on the ballot in so many places - he must be a good choice!
