FEMA Head and Bush pic re: Hurricane Ivan
Edited on Thu Sep-16-04 07:57 AM by PCIntern
Anyone else notice that there was nothing else in the video of this putz except a grinning picture of our Fearsome Leader, *? Not a pencil, not a map, not a single piece of paper, but this picture on the right of the screen. It ws a surreal experience. Then I switched back to 'Bikini Trimmer' infomercial and all was well.

1. I noticed that pic of chimp-in-chief behind him also- blatant propaganda
That pic reminded me of Alfred E Neuman 'What, Me Worry?' from Mad Magazine. Such an obvious phony touch designed to make sure everyone connects FEMA with our fearless leader.

2. How did this idiot get his job?
When he first appeared on the scene after Charley I was happy we escaped the full force. One minute of him and I knew the people hit hard by Charley were in for a long haul of trying to get real help from these people.

5. Not sure which photo of the FEMA guy, but given the propaganda
lengths they go to (remember Tom Ridge announcing the recent orange alert for DC and getting a plug in for * ?), nothing would surprise me about shamelessly milking a natural disaster for political gains...

6. It could not have been more obvious.....
Stark white sterile room. NO decorations except the smiling chimp* photo. And did he look like a dyed in the wool bushbot or what?!?

7. The blatant plugging for Bush has been disgusting
Edited on Thu Sep-16-04 10:33 AM by LizW
Down here in Alabama, the damage from Ivan is very severe. Every single Repug official (Riley, Shelby, Sessions, the FEMA guy) has inserted blatant plugs for Bush when they are interviewed on local tv. It's so obvious. They even use the same phrases. They refer to him as "our president". Puke. "We're so fortunate that our President has signed...." blah, blah, blah.
