Dems Using MISSION ACCOMPLISHED In New Ad!!!
WASHINGTON - The Democratic Party questions President Bush (news - web sites)'s credibility on Iraq (news - web sites) and the economy in a new campaign ad that shows the Republican on an aircraft carrier declaring an end to major combat under a "Mission Accomplished" banner.

2. They should have Bush standing next to a gas station sign with
$2.00 + prices and the "Mission Accomplished" banner.

5. LOL. Great. I just posted down the page about this.
Not more then a half hour ago I asked why Kerry/Dems weren't using this embarrassment. It's about time!

4. I have a bumpersticker that says..
"Nothing Accomplished" with a slash through "Mission"!

IMV, it is a good analogy and typical of the gop's behavior during this whole four years. Ignore the truth and give another tax cut.

Who knew tax cuts could be so bad?

17. How about a whole string of ads using Mission Unaccomplished?
Could have that battleship banner superimposed hanging over people in an unemployment line, over kids going into a school, people trying to get into a hospital, of caskets coming back from Iraq, picture of a terrorist training camp, this list is endless.

You know when Rove planned that photo op back in May 03 he had visions of it running that pic in every political ad possible during the 04 election cycle. He just didn't think it would be used for the competition.

8. BRILLIANT!! I almost started a thread about this
Oh tht is sooo sweet. Turning his own BS PR move around on him.

HAHAHAHAHA This is getting funnier the more I think about it.

Want to bet the Repubs will bring up that that ad's footage was made with TAX PAYER DOLLARS (which Ari said at the time was $8 of extra expense W to do his landing).

SLAM!

What a buffoon, what a loser, what a sham, what a charlatan, what a national embarrassment!

You know, I think the 'alleged' Clinton conversation to return to domestic issues was our own trick to get Rove and his propaganda machine sniffing down the wrong trail! This is going to slam dunk Bush into the idiot fool embarrassment that he is! What a FOOL Bush is, he fell right into the spider hole!

11. They finally have the right theme. Bush takes no responsibility
for anything. Parlays nicely off his shirking guard duty.

16. Hilariously, when Junior Flyboy landed
a right winger I know predicted we'd see this in campaign ads during the campaign...of course, he thought pResident Dimwit would be using it.

Of course, he also semed genuinely puzzled why Democrats didn't just give up when the drunk was strutting aorund in his pilot costume....

But you know what? Great timing. This is the time to start attacking! I'm sure they have some good material to use in October. Maybe Bush in a flight suit and make him look like a real moron? :-)

FIRST CHAPTER
'The Candidate'
By PAUL ALEXANDER

Published: August 15, 2004
snip

According to press reports, Bush, a trained pilot who had served in the Texas Air National Guard in the Vietnam era, flew the jet himself for about one-third of the trip.
snip

Was his permission to fly military planes returned to him or did he "fly" a militay plane while his licence was revoked?? Did he finally take his physical for this photo op or is this a buch of BS? Something doesn't add up.
