Cramer, Stewart Feud Continues: Cramer Calls It "Naive And Misleading...To Attack The Media"
The Huffington Post | Nico Pitney | March 19, 2009 07:55 AM

This morning, CNBC's Jim Cramer made his first appearance on the Today show since his face-off with Jon Stewart last week. But Cramer ran into some more tough questioning from host Meredith Viera.

"You had a rough week," she told Cramer. " was very tough on you, tough on CNBC, basically said you had been cheerleaders for the financial bubble and you also allowed CEOs to come on the shows and essentially lie to the American public without really challenging them. I don't want to rehash the whole thing, but didn't he have a point?"

Cramer said no and called it "a naive and misleading thing to attack the media."

"We weren't behind this. CNBC, in particular, has been out front on this," he argued. "I think there are people who bear so much more responsibility that it's just wrong-headed -- the politicians, the regulators, the SEC, the lenders, the investment banks. ... It's just a naive focus, it really is Meredith."

3. talkin' like a badass now that he's away from the klieg lights of Jon Stewart's interview
typical trash talk ex post facto. What a miserable fucktard runt. HE should pay back millions he's made off of this regulated felony theft of America.

I think Grassley has some good advice for him.

4. I still don't think Grassley should have apologized/retracted
We all understood it was hyperbole when he said it

I sent him an e-mailtelling him he was correct in his initial assessment and suggestion.

I guess he's spent too much time watching the other repukes apologizing to capt oxycotin and it became reflexive for him to do so. Even though his comments weren't directed at the Real Chairman of the Republican Party -- Lush Oxycotin

5. that would be funny if some GOP dude had the cajones to tell Rush
you should either resign or off yourself.

I actually think we'll hear a headline in the next 6 months that Rush is found in his vast Florida estate dead from a drug overdose or something.

6. Exactly what his worshippers don't understand.
I have never seen such outright anger about a TV persona as I've gotten from Cramer fans when I've made even the smallest criticism of him. I just can't understand why they can't see through this clown.

He acted like a domestic abuser on Jon Stewart the other night who was trying to get back in after brutally beating his spouse. He nodded to everything Stewart said, agreed he had done wrong, acted childishly remorseful and promised to change. All of the while you knew everything he said was complete BS. He was just trying to get on Jon's good side so the punishment would stop.

Now he's back at the bar telling all of his buddies that he did what he had to to get her to quit crying, that he did nothing wrong and that she's a whining bitch.

I've read that people who know him say he's a sociopath. He certainly seems like a classic case.

10. Talking around the issue of his having been repeatedly *wrong*.
No one's accusing him of having caused the financial meltdown. His incompetence is at the heart of his public flogging, and it's what he's trying to distract us from.

11. The people IN the media don't realize HOW sloppy they are, the average blogger is more informed than
...they are and the talking points are more honed also.

12. When the snake oil salesman comes into town, he needs a shill in the crowd to help fleece the marks.
Cramer & all the other "financial reporters" are nothing but shills for Wall St.
