Burr weak in new poll
A new Public Policy Polling poll yields more enlightening numbers. Republican freshman Richard Burr's approve-disapprove stands at a weak 35-32, significantly worse than the 43-31 approve-disapprove of Elizabeth Dole at the same point in the 2008 election cycle. In a hypothetical match-up against North Carolina's Democratic Secretary of State Elaine Marshall, Burr only leads 43-35, being held well under 50%. Further, in a match-up against a generic Democrat, Burr only leads 42-38, illustrating how clearly vulnerable Burr is. You may recall that a December poll from Public Policy Polling showed Burr trailing Democratic state Attorney General Roy Cooper by a 39-34 margin. Attorney General Cooper continues to consider a 2010 Senate bid.

1. And the GOP (Conservatives) blindly believe they were not faithful
enough to their Orthodoxy--Free Market Economic Conservatism.

Keep on believing Guys. We Dems can use some more Members.
