My 85 y/o Mother Stayed Up Past Her Regular Bedtime Tonight To Watch Pres. Obama on Leno.......

she was over my house during the day and watched his town hall in CA as well. She told me her sister-in-law also 85 was going to stay up to watch Obama on Leno as well. This just warms the cockles of my heart and brings a tear to my eye. He is loved by all. He even broke through to the senior Seniors. I just can't get over it. Most everybody is rooting for him. It's time the Repugs realize this and get on to supporting him as well.

This is from a generation that is known to be racist at times. He really has that ability to appeal to any age and race and both sexes.

because I had to defend Obama tonight at work against a customer who started dissing him and his supporters right in our store. I was proud that I didn't resort to insults and only defended Obama against her hateful lies.

The last thing I said to her as she was going out the door was, "Love Obama":)

5. My grandparents LOVE Obama.

And that is shocking because my grandpa used to be a virulent racist. But he put a campaign sign in his yard for the very first time this year.

And my grandma calls me every time Obama is on TV.

6. My Mother Calls Me As Well And She Also Save Clippings From The .......

newspapers anytime they mention anything about Obama. For an 85 y/o she well informed and reads the newspaper from cover to cover. I'm glad she doesn't have cable - because I think if she listened to some of the cable news shows and talking heads - she'd put a shoe through the set.
