So am I. Carlos Watson just asked how he thinks the WH feels. And Todd said they're happy with it-he got to explain the economy, AIG, Geithner, etc. And guess what-the Special Olympics thing didn't even come up!

1. Let's see if Gibbs gets asked about it. I'm sure at least
one 'journalist' will bring it up.

President Obama Jokes About Being a Bad Bowler: 'It's Like the Special Olympics'
March 19, 2009 8:56 PM

The first appearance by a sitting president on "The Tonight Show" may well end up being the last.

President Obama, in his taping with Jay Leno Thursday afternoon, attempted to yuk it up with the funnyman, and ended up insulting the disabled.

Towards the end of his approximately 40-minute appearance, the president talked about how he's gotten better at bowling and has been practicing in the White House bowling alley.

He bowled a 129, the president said.

"That's very good, Mr. President," Leno said sarcastically.

It's "like the Special Olympics or something," the president said.

the only reason I brought on his negative idiocy..was to point it out.

11. lol
I read that Tapper "blocked" (I guess you can do that on Twitter, I don't know) Talking Points Memo and some other group when he didn't like their response to his post. Obama's comment was dumb, but whatever Tapper, you don't get moral high ground if you are going to be self righteous and censor people who disagree with you. What a tool.

12. Trapper led with the "gaffe" In ABC's report.
That's what "presidential" coverage amounts to for that network.

6. As they should be. All the talk around it is silly. I watched that
interview and found it very informative.

8. Yup. He did a great job and millions of people watched it.
And I bet they're not watching cable news' spin on it.

9. Hopefully not. I think even those with an open mind will hear the
grumbling and probably say they never heard it, or didn't notice it. That was a great interview.

13. The President had a good interview, in front of a wide audience of millions.
While Obama haters just dig themselves further into the hole with this Special Olympics business.

What's not to love?
