What is wrong with the White House telling GM to get a sound business plan?
"We think we can have a successful U.S. auto industry. But it's got to be one that's realistically designed to weather this storm and to emerge -- at the other end -- much more lean, mean and competitive than it currently is," Obama said.

5. That's a good argument
You're right, the White House should just endlessly give money to GM because of my nickname.

4. The only question I have is...
just who in the administration, or Congress for that matter, has any experience running a huge manufacturing operation and knows what a "realistically designed" plan is?

7. Apparently GM seems to have no clue themselves
So having the White House attempt to steer that ship in the right direction is fine by me.

11. Wasn't a sound business plan a condition of continued bail out money?
