I think I heard him correctly.
Rep. Ryan just announced some of the details of his budget proposal.
I guess we'll get more today.

10. I know! and...the Senate Repubs are apparently squabbling over what to do...
http://www.cqpolitics.com/wmspage.cfm?docid=news-000003089317

"Republican leaders in the Senate are clashing with John McCain , their party’s 2008 presidential nominee. He wants to offer an alternative to the Democratic budget and they don’t.
The behind-the-scenes battle is part of a larger split in the Republican Party.
Some in the GOP believe their best strategy is to resist President Obama’s agenda and take carefully chosen shots through amendments they all agree on; others want the party to do more to demonstrate how a Republican imprint would be different."

At least an insane budget is better than no budget proposal.
Get them on record stating what they think and all.

11. I imagine the Benny Hill Show theme song as background music
when I read about their squabbling over their 'budget'.

12. This should concern everyone on the planet.
For one of two reasons.

Either they think this is really a good idea and they're monumentally stupid beyond words.

Or they know it's a horrible idea and they're proposing bad policy because they think it will go over well with the public.

13. This is them "getting back to their roots" and soul-searching.
Sadly for them, that's some poor soil to till.

We can expect a lot of party infighting as they struggle to articulate a vision of the future.

15. I really hope they keep being so inept and ridiculous till the next
election - they will lose big yet again, still not knowing what went wrong...
