6. Not all of them are wingnuts, and
some people (Democrats included) still fell for the maverick myth.

In any case, the wingnuts are definitely in that 25%.

8. Many of them were racists
My inlaws, for example. They would have voted for Hillary had she run, but because Obama ran, they voted for McCain.
