Sounds like he'll be the dayside host for those hours.

9. Didn't Keith do away with Oddball?
Instead of a 40 minutes of subtance and 20 of goofing around, seems like he's gone to 60 minutes of substance. I like that a lot better.

Shuster is good too. They're getting a really great lineup.

11. Nope, Keith still does Oddball, and I'm glad.
It was never 20 minutes long anyway. A few minutes of goofing is fine with me.

8. He was an anchor during those hours already. I wonder if he'll now be the only one or the main one
during those two hours. He was always at "the politics desk."

12. When he moved to 1600, I believe Tamron Hall took over at 4 and Contessa at 3.
Im positive on Hall, not on Brewer. He'll prob take over those two hours and Hall and Brewer will be confined to the AM with Mitchell at 1 and Norah at 2.

at "the politics desk" during those hours, too.

Maybe he should take over the morning show and get rid of Joe and Mika.

16. HuffPost has the press release
Looks like he is sharing the two block hours with Tamron Hall. Well, at least it's not Contessa.

David Shuster, currently hosting "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" at 6 p.m. ET on MSNBC, will join Tamron Hall as host of a new 3-5 p.m. ET program on MSNBC. Shuster will also continue to anchor breaking news coverage during the day and serve as a regular substitute anchor for "Countdown with Keith Olbermann." Norah O'Donnell's hour will move to the morning. The exact hour will be announced at a later date.

26. Great move on MSNBC's part.
Here I thought they were giving Shuster the heave-ho with Ed Schultz's good fortune only to find out Shuster got himself a sweet block of time himself. Great stuff.

27. He is up against Blitzer!!
For his first hour anyway. If they can take him down then CNN is in big trouble and Shuster will be in a very good position.

31. The 10 spot will be a problem if Jay Leno has show, so keeping Schuster, Ed viable.
KO rerun may be the best solution.
