Because of your generous support, Scott Murphy is leading by 65 votes in the special election in New York's 20th District, in a too-close-to-call race after starting off more than 21 points down. But, our work is not over – these next few hours are critical.

Yesterday morning before the polls even closed, the GOP filed a lawsuit to slow down the vote count and just this morning our Republican counterparts outrageously accused Democrats of trying to steal the election.

We've seen these kinds of tactics before – just look at Al Franken who is still fighting for his seat in the Senate after November's election.
