Blago indictment could come today - while he & his family are vacationing at Disney World
When it comes to this guy, you just can't make this shit up.
A former federal prosecutor said the indictment of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich could come as soon as today. Officials are not saying exactly when, but they face a deadline of Tuesday.

The former governor apparently isn't even in Illinois today. He is registered at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., a hotel operator confirmed this morning. He could not be reached for comment, however.

The indictment is expected to include more details about the allegations against Blagojevich and his former chief of staff John Harris regarding the corruption charges leveled against them in December. It also could include more defendants.

Known targets include Blagojevich's brother, Robert, who headed the former governor's campaign fund; Lon Monk, Blagojevich's onetime best friend and former chief of staff; Blagojevich's wife, Patricia; and Friends of Blagojevich, the ex-governor's campaign committee.

1. I thought April 8th was 'the' day.
And I guess blago isn't that broke if he's in Disney World. Or, he's stockpiling memories?

3. I think they're trying to get in ahead of the deadline.
I've heard the April 2nd rumor before, looks like it's serious if the news agencies are reporting it. I just hope Fitzgerald & his team have had time to build up a case. I don't envy them, the timeline did not work in their favor.

2. Blogo always tries to appear so cool and unaffected by all of the
chaos surrounding him. I wonder if he really IS like that, or just able to put on a good show?
