MSNBC reported that N. Korea has begun loading fuel into missiles.
Will this be Obama's first big test of foreign policy strength?

1. South Korea can't be too happy about this.
WTF, like we don't have enough on our plates.

3. NKorea has had the launch date set for April 4-8 for quite a while.
They chose that time frame for a reason.

5. It seems like North Korea always has troubling news when the US experiences troubling times.

4. Satellite images show it does appear to be a satellite on the tip.
But, it can still ignite something, if it goes off course, or if Japan reacts.

6. I am skeptical because of how we have been tricked by our own goverment before.
In war, some facts less factual
Some US assertions from the last war on Iraq still appear dubious…

Citing top-secret satellite images, Pentagon officials estimated in mid–September that up to 250,000 Iraqi troops and 1,500 tanks stood on the border, threatening the key US oil supplier.

But when the St. Petersburg Times in Florida acquired two commercial Soviet satellite images of the same area, taken at the same time, no Iraqi troops were visible near the Saudi border – just empty desert.

12. You think they have a nuke on it?
I don't think anyone thinks that. The point is it looks consistent with how a satellite launch would look. If it didn't have the satellite object on it, then the cause for concern would be greater.

11. Kim Jong Il doesn't have any reason to send 1 million soldiers south of the DMZ
