Jake here, your local Obama/OFA team leader. Yeah I'm not a giant fan of the bank plan, and yes I wish he was more progressive on the rights for my friends in the Gay community and yes I speak out on those issue. Oh yeah and Paul Krugman lights up my heart every time he speaks.

However, we are in the middle of a budget fight. A budget that includes some critical funding for healthcare reform, clean energy, and middle class tax cuts. You know the bread and butter shit we all agree with.

So as progressives lets make the calls, do the demonstrations, and remind the conservadems who signs their checks to get this budget passed so when one day when our grandchildren ask us what we were doing at this time we don't say we were bitching about Morning Joe.

One more thing, in most states we have municipal elections coming up. Please help your State Supreme Court candidates. Those are the guys who will be weighing on in the redistricting in your state after the Census.

Geightners toxic debt buy up is brilliant. That in combination with the feds buy up of 30 year t bonds will force the lending flood gates open. These two acts alone could turn the economy around before 1Q10.
