Who are the 2 Dems that voted for the Republican alternative budget
I've read that 2 Blue Dogs voted for the assinine so-called budget that some Republicans laughingly put before the House. I've tried to find out who the 2 were, but I haven't been successful. Does anyone know?

7. You don't even have to ask who the two were. Its the usual two who are Republicans
calling themselves Democrats.

9. Ben Nelson (NE) and Evan Bayh (IN)
Edited on Thu Apr-02-09 11:37 PM by WatchWhatISay
And Robert Byrd (WV) didn't vote. All three are in the conservative "coalition", but there are about 8 them, I believe, so its not working well enough to matter, at least not this time. Bayh is in charge of this group of asses.

10. Evan Bayh
I didn't know he was that bad of a jackass. And to think he was supposedly being considered for VP.

Thank you and everyone else for the info. Just have to make sure I have an up-to-date hit list.

11. I'm pretty sure this would have been House Roll Call 191.
It has been listed here at Thomas but the votes have not yet been listed. This vote was on an amendment by Paul Ryan (R) of Wisconsin. The NY Times says the measure was defeated 293 to 137, with 38 Republicans opposing it. In addition to the Thomas page I linked above you might want to check out Open Secrets after the normal people wake up.

12. OK, Roll Call has the vote result.
There were no Democrats who voted for it. Three abstained, however. They were Jim Costa of CA, Ruben Hinojosa of TX, Eleanor Norton of DC.
