Sarko's positively giddy!

Check Merkel drawing Obama in. "Not without a HUG, you!"

I think Obama makes Sarko want to be a better man. ;)

And who can forget this "oldie but goodie" from the G20 in London?

Breaking News from the press conference with Merkel. Merkel is saying that Germany's goals for Afghanistan are in line with Obama's. Sounds very much like they're planning to commit forces to the effort. Damn, our President is GOOD!!! :D

Edited: title and to change "troops" to "forces"

5. You preferred Bush and all the enemies he earned that reflected so
poorly on all of us? I sure don't, and know McCain would have been a disaster. So what exactly are you complaining about?

6. You would rather he snub them? These are elected leaders, after all.
Obama doesn't get to choose who he has to work with.

10. It certainly seems that Obama is rubbing off on them...
More than they are rubbing off on him.

Getting Medvedev to commit to reducing Russia's nuclear arsenal is nothing to sneeze at.

Did you see this?

13. It's SALT on steroids!
Of course, it benefits both us and the Russkies, that move. AND it checks Iran and Pakistan, to say nothing of Little Kim and his Big Rockets.

There's more than a little self-interest at play, here.

Medvedev will have his hand out, you know--part of the reason we slowed that process down is because the Russkies couldn't AFFORD the rather lengthy and arduous destruction process.

No such thing as a free lunch...but still, it's a good thing, if only to reduce the number of weapons that are flopping around, poorly secured, with the potential to endanger any city or town around the globe.

Good for Barack!

15. We won't put missiles in Poland.
Which is what Russia was freaking out about. So they get that.

Obama, I'm sure, is also demanding greater cooperation with regards to Iran. He'll probably get it.

22. I guess they didn't get the talking points handed out by Limbaugh, et al
They were supposed to give him a very rough time, remember?

Tell me, how many times are they allowed to be wrong before their opinions actually become a portal to Bizarro World?
