It's just so funny how much BIGGER size-wise the Obama's are compared to everyone else. They both look wonderful. :) One extremely shallow question, though. Are Carla's legs nude or is she dong the unthinkable and wearing tights/stockings with open-toed shoes? D: I'd like to think she wouldn't make that mistake and the light is simply reflecting off her legs. Either way, her outfit is still very cute...but why does she always look so timid?

Also, I find myself really liking Merkel. She seems quite lively. :3

The black dress is totally haute couture and absolutely gorgeous on her, with or without the knit bolero with the square neckline, which is also totally cute and becoming.

She's pretty in a few of those pics, especially when they're smooching at the podium with her in the floral fuchsia dress with the short laced sleeves. I'm not crazy about the floral, but the color is great for her. I thought my hair was slamming, but the First Lady's hair is jamming.

They really are doing us proud in word and deed. PM Merkel looks like she would keep me laughing.

70. Richard Quest, British reporter on CNN, mentioned tonight that President Obama breaks protocol all

the time - he called it the new protocol - because the President is supposed to go first - like when they walked in to greet the Queen - but President Obama usually lets Michelle go first. I think he is follow the gentlemen's protocol which his grandfather probably taught him to let the lady go first.

Quest wasn't criticising. He just said there is a new protocol and an old protocol and none of it really matters.

I, frankly, like that he follows what he probably considers the appropriate protocol. :)

Love it!!.. I really like this style instead of the usual updo front. I also loved the dress!. I will only change the shape of her eyebrows.. they are too curve it and makes her expressions look like if she is angry when she is not. I will make her eyebrows more straigh... but overall, she is an excellent first lady and i am very proud of her and our country.
