Let's hope Republicans nominate a social conservative in 2012, because that candiate will never fair well in a general election, especially if Obama keeps his approval/favorable rating high...

1. I am hoping the fundie base pushes Sarah Palin on the GOP ticket for 2012

because that made for some of the funniest Saturday Night Live episodes in ages. It is so ironic that the same Reich-wing folks that love the Palin clan are the same ones insinuating that the Obama's are *hicks*. I know it's not polite to gloat in anothers misery, but I have to admit that I love watching them self-destruct.
