Craig Robinson and OSU win the CBI
Edited on Sat Apr-04-09 11:33 AM by depakid
(Actually, considering the situation the team was in last year- 18-18 plus a tournament championship really is an accomplishment ). Tip's hat to the Beav's.

White House visit unlikely, but OSU lives it up as CBI champion after upset of UTEP in Game 3

<on edit- being a Duck alum, it's hard to resist a dig or two. Sorry about the initial heading....>

1. It may not be the big dance but it's really positioning the Beavers for the future
Last year's recruiting class was one player ranked one star. Craig Robinson's 2009 class has five payers, none lower than three stars. I say cheers to the last Pac 10 team standing.

2. God damn Oregon State has some good mens coaches.
Robinson, Riley, and Casey.

If only the football team could be loaded with only three star + players. They'd rule the
universe and be able to beat USC in the Mausoleum--not just in CornValley.

:fistbump:

3. Robinson's proven himself to be much better than most of us expected
Of course, simple regression to the mean suggested that the 2008-2009 team would exceed last year's- but there's more to it- sort of an esprit de corps that's been missing from OSU basketball for a long time.
