This morning, Brian DeBose, CONSERVATIVE writer for the Washington Times, criticized Obama
Edited on Sat Apr-04-09 03:44 PM by jenmito
for not taking questions from Americans during his town hall in France "with such an economic crisis at home." He said he thought it was a mistake for him to even DO the town hall in a foreign country (and without Sarkozy there, who apparently doesn't like to do these things). The thing is that MSNBC labeled him only as being from the Washington Times with no mention that he's a conservative. I know he is, though, because he used to be on a show on CNN called "After Party" where the libs. would sit at a table and discuss the week's events and then the conservatives would take their place in the next segment to discuss THEIR take on it. And it would usually be him, Stephen Hayes, and Tara Wall (Brian and Tara both being Black conservatives). So MSNBC put him on this morning without disclosing his bias. Typical "liberal" media.

5. MSNBC has done some poor reporting lately...
not to mention not having full disclosure. It's all during the daytime hours, though. At least they have a good prime-time lineup.

3. Gotta find a black person to spew the negative in the hopes that
people will follow along blindly. Disgusting

4. I saw that too.

Though, wasn't one of the questioners Obama picked on an American student studying in France? I remember him saying "I promise that I didn't pick the American on purpose."

Yeah, and Brian also said "Lots of people I know who are big fans of Obama had problems with how that town hall in France was carried out." Righhhhht. He said "it made them uncomfortable." Again, likely story.

9. He took the first question by a plain old American and the second one had dual citizenship.
So Brian lied. YES-he DID say that, too! That's because he's lying! The very use of the word "fans" should've given it away.

6. He actually took two questions from Americans.
The very first question was from an American. The second or third question was from a French/American dual citizen.

7. Saw it. That was such an assinine critique.
They are truly reaching now. They've got nothing else to complain about so they invent these little controversies.

You could tell he was just winging it and was not really prepared to give a robust defense to those claims.

She didn't hear that take on it before.
