Maybe it's time for Obama to be given a "to-do" list?
Sure, he's thrown us a few bones here and there, but how much has he done to deal with the corruption and contagion that is left over from the Bush administration?

Here's a list of things that Obama has yet to do within the first hundred days:

Repeal the more onerous provisions of the USA PATRIOT Act, if not the whole thing. It is my understanding that all use of the public libraries is still monitored by Federal agents - if you check out a book, you're in an NSA database.

Disband the TSA and turn airport security over to local law enforcement. Enough said in this regard.

Prosecute those who have tortured prisoners in Guantanamo Bay and in CIA black sites. Don't just stand up and make pretty speeches about how America "does not torture" when these schmucks, in fact, have.

Drop all attempts to block legal challenges to FISA and domestic surveillance. My phone is still being tapped. Is yours?

Adjust the timeline for pulling troops out of Iraq. End of 2010, you say? Not fast enough.

Now it's your turn - what would you like to see added?

1. Ignore "to-do" lists that come from anonymous message boards - trust your instincts
;-)

2. ???
I don't get it. What about my instincts that tell me Obama is being pulled away from some fundamental issues that, once addressed, will strengthen our nation and give us a little more of that "hope" we talked about last year?

4. I believe your "instincts" are wrong...
and that Obama already has those items, or items similar to them, on his "to-do" list.

I'm losing patience with the impatience of the electorate.

3. all of those,
plus single-payer universal health care, just like the rest of the civilized world.

plus, spend the wasted Wall Street bailout giveaway money on creating jobs for real Americans.

8. Because I don't have millions of dollars in my bank account, for starters
Besides, Obama's already there, and he's at a "crossroads" moment for our nation where he can help determine what kind of society America is going to be for generations to come.

9. Maybe he's been busy with the top two items on HIS list
1. Keep the economy from totally collapsing long enough to start rebuilding.

2. Repair the worst of the diplomatic damage from eight years of bush.

11. What's your timetable..
on your to-do list? Do your demands have to be met, exactly as you specify? Are you making demands of any other government officials, yourself, or anybody else?
