4. Take a look at the Ohio Congressional districts
http://www.ohiochamber.com/governmental/pdfs/110congress.pdf

They were created by a Republican majority and designed to keep Republicans in office forever. I live in the 18th. It covers all or parts of 16 counties. There is no reason for the way the district was designed other than it consists of areas that typically vote Republican. Bob Ney was my congressman. After he was convicted for bribery and after the Taft/Noe scandals, Zack Space (D) was able to pick up the district. The R's are still whining because Space has THEIR district. Also take a look at the 6th district. It stretches for miles along the Ohio River. Those counties typically vote D, so they were put together. It wasn't done for any reason other than keeping most of the state Republican. That may help you understand how very hard it was to turn Ohio blue. The Rs controlled everything until '06. They still have 100% of the judges on the Supreme Court. Insurance money buys those seats.

I need to spend some more time on that link as well. My next big goal in life is to be able to keep control of redistricting out of the hands of the Rs. A bi-partisan commission would be fine with me. I'm a Democrat and believe in fairness.

6. Have you played every scenario?
The hardest for me was the Voting Rights Act one.

You had to keep the coastal Dems safe while creating a new district.

It took me at least 15 minutes, but I finally beat each one.

8. This is fun! except I can't seem to get both a basic and advanced version of each mission?
Did anyone else get those to load, or is it really one of each mission?
