10 weeks out - Stimulus money, jobs, impact felt in Billings MT
Good news for unemployed carpenters, drafty/low income and elderly homes, youth summer workers, and the local hardware and supply store.

The stimulus money is trickling into Montana and a local non-profit is doubling its effort to weatherize low-income and elderly homes this summer, saving families and individuals hundreds of dollars each winter, and reducing the use of energy.

7. ...and papers (or other news organizations) who hire them to write.
(Sorry to piss on a positive thread.)

Maybe people can spend some of their stimulus money on a newspaper subscription. That would be a boon for journalism if it were widespread enough.

11. That's not a bad idea
Spending the stimulus money on newspapers. Not the big dinosaurs like NYT or WaPo, but local rags, like the Billings Gazette.

9. Cheney's not far from here
Why doesn't he drop by and explain to the good people of Billings what a bad idea Obama's stimulus program is.
