C-Span - Republicans Panel trying to figure out their Future
They are shit scared of Barack Obama becoming the next Reagan.

right now, they are trying to figure out what Obama's downfall will be.
It appears that they think that Obama's coalition can fall apart at anytime....
depending on the issue.....and they can swoop in for the kill.

It is interesting.

1. Why do I have the feeling this would be like watching an Abbott and Costello routine?

12. And he certainly gave himself away - talking about a republi-CON something and then
a Democrat something.

You know something? I just feel REALLY sorry for some of these poor schmucks. Got such a shitty education, missed third and fourth grade - never learned the difference between a noun and an adjective. And here they are in adulthood, speaking out in public and betraying their own ignorance. Poor souls! Must suck to be them. I sense MAJOR LEAGUE self-esteem issues because of this.

:P

2. They are so screwed. They are counting on people who are
just about nuts to prop them up. When you trot Alan Keyes out for tea bag parties you're in trouble.

I'm listening to this Robert Kaufman guy now saying people will "yearn for bush/cheney after 4 yrs of this". What garbage!

5. Did you see it earlier?
They each said their piece.

And they each had a different theory as to why Barack Obama won the election.
All were full of shit.

6. as usual, they are focusing on the wrong thing..........
Their typical MO is how to bring the other guy down without having any original ideas of their own! And as usual, they're still trying to figure out how Obana can screw this up.

What they should be doing is to try and figure out how they can make the country better by using republican ideas. To be clear, I don't know if that's even possible but if they expect to be a serious contender again, they have to figure out how their ideas will appeal to voters.

So if they're afraid Obama is the new Reagan..........they should be!!!

13. The answer has always been right in front of their noses, but they just can't see it.

They are so consumed with gimmicks and buzz-phrases. They need ideas, good ideas, not the same old rinsed-out pantyhose hanging on the clothesline ideas.

On edit: K&R
