I have been standing in the street protesting against the war a couple times a week for several years now. I see the hate from the right all the time. They are rabidly angry. And much more so since Obama was elected and is enacting his plans. I have no intention of going anywhere near the local teabag protests. I think you are insane to do so. I have had beer cans thrown at me from moving cars. Cars have driven up over the curb at us. A few times, a car has parked and someone got out wanting to fight. People come back week after week. One guy throws stuff at us every week. We have had guns pointed at us.

And when we call the cops it's about a 50% chance of them showing up. They have never yet gone after the people we call about. Most of the cops sympathize with the war mongers.

They won't be thinking about their movement.
