On Thursday and Friday, if you made the mistake of tuning into the RW talking heads from Limbaugh to Hannity, they were promoting the pirate situation as the same as the Iranian hostage situation during the Carter administration.

:)

Can't wait to hear what those hellhounds will do now..

6. Peacetrain, check this idiot out:

HEADLINE: “American captain rescued, pirates killed, U.S. official says …”

A couple of points:

1) Hats off to the Navy SEALs.
2) Hats on to the politicians who didn’t let it happen sooner.
3) Take out every pirate vessel that can be located over the next few weeks whether in dock or at sea.
4) Try the remaining pirate as an enemy combatant and have him face a firing squad within one week (as General Eisenhower did with German troops caught out of uniform during the Battle of the Bulge).

“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.” - George Orwell

He/they can't decide if the Armed Forces don't respect Obama and is worthless because of him, or if the Naval forces are ok after all.

He/they were of the persuasion that Obama should have stormed in from day one. Now that the crisis has been resolved, he/they still cling to that dumb ass premise.

I rag on this guy every chance I get, as he is a complete fucking idiot.

.... the President put on a Navy Seal outfit and, all by himself, rescued the captian using nothing but a flashlight and a tongue depresser. :)

It's just as plausable as anything the Freepers come up with.

Google the term and you'll see what I mean - it's a fraternity prank I first heard about back in 1991 during the Navy Tailhook convention scandal,
