3. the White House social secretary was on GMA this morning
and she said that Bo wouldn't be there today, he will be making his official appearance later this week.

Moving to a new home is excitement/trauma enough for a dog. Being suddenly surrounded by gazillions of noisy children with nobody he really knows to hide behind would be awful for the poor thing.

11. In DC, it is big news every year. It used to be a local affair.
However, this year, the Obama's opened it up to everybody. And many people traveled to DC to participate.
